About The Author


Ben Manning is from Somerset in the UK, but grew up in Paddington, West London. He works at the home of the poet Samuel Taylor Coleridge in Somerset. Manning trained as an actor with Youngblood theatre company, Hammersmith and as a child at Carona Stage school, which landed him work as a six year old in a Siouxie and the Banchees video! He studied English literature at the Arts University College, Bournemouth, which has a world famous reputation of renowned writers and from its filmschool. Whilst there he was taught by Gaudi biographer Gijs Van Hensbergen.  He has worked on architectural/Design and music publications/websites and events such as the Leading european Architects forum and America's Leading Architects forum. He has been featured on BBC radio 4's "You and Yours" programme discussing writing, nationally. His hobbies include Cricket commentating for Somerset county Cricket Club and Teaching English. His poetry - an epic tribute poem to Coleridge and Dahl is on display in the Roald Dahl museum and Library in the UK.  Click below links to Video BBC Interview.
